AGM
Well another year has passed and was capped off with the AGM being combined with the end of year get together on a glorious Gold Coast day - anchored off South Stradbroke Island.
The
The club would like to thank Mason and Belinda Barlow and also to thank Bob and Lynette Fitzgerald for graciously volunteering their mega cruisers for the day
The day began with pick up from the wharf at the Grand Labrador and both boats proceeded to cruise leisurely up the Broadwater to eventually anchor off a deserted beach at South Stradbroke Island.
Many thanks to all those contributing to the day including Tim and better half Chris for organising the copious amounts of fresh prawns, oysters and smoked salmon - that was well washed down with suitable amounts of cool beer and crisp wine.
After laying anchor, the transfer to our secluded beach was by tender and at times the tenders gunwales were barely above the water as Joe & Tim laden with eskies - Bob at the helm and with accompanying better halves Touda, Chris and Lynette made their way from the boat to the beach. Someone likened it to a cross between Giligans Island and Survivor.
Down to business, the AGM was held
Following is an excerpt of the meeting.
